This entitles you to the lower rate, but unused hours are not carried forward to the next month. However 'short' enquiries by email or telephone are not charged to retained clients. The hourly rates are charged in increments of ¼ hour or part thereof. Half a day is any contiguous period of between 3 hours and 4 hours, after which hours are charged for at an hourly rate equivalent to ¼ of the half-day rate. A full day is any contiguous period exceeding 7½ hours up to a maximum of 12 hours. A week is any five days taken within an eight-day period.
